City in Yunnan to provide health exams for all

In addition, the data can help analyze the main factors influencing residents' health and promote scientific countermeasures.

So far, basic medical facilities in the city have created 269,000 electronic health records and conducted free health examinations for 24,200 people, including children under 6 years old, elderly people over 65 and married women in low-income families.

The city expects to finish examining all students in primary and middle schools as well as residents between age 18 and 64 by the end of next year.

In 2022, a science-based spectrum of diseases and regional health reports will be available based on comprehensive analysis and classification of health examination results, The information will be the basis for adjusting regional health resources to meet needs efficiently.

The government also plans to develop a mobile app that can help residents search for health data more easily.
