Senior Chinese diplomat to visit Sri Lanka, UAE, Algeria, Serbia

BEIJING -- Yang Jiechi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), will pay official visits to Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, Algeria and Serbia from Thursday to Monday, a Foreign Ministry spokesperson announced Wednesday.

Yang, also director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee, was invited by the governments of the four countries, spokesperson Hua Chunying said in a statement.
