Wu Jiaqi, a 24-year-old taxi driver in Wuhan, Hubei province, has gained popularity among his peers and netizens since he began posting videos online in April telling stories about his passengers.

"Driving a taxi is a great opportunity to meet different kinds of people and hear their stories," Wu said.

When taking tourists around Wuhan, he tells them stories about his hometown and recommends scenic spots and local food.

After several trips, Wu shoots a short video telling the stories of his passengers. He posts the videos on the short video application Douyin or TikTok.
