ROK hands over to China remains of 117 Chinese volunteer soldiers

The Republic of Korea (ROK) returned the remains of 117 Chinese soldiers from the People's Volunteer Army who served in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea (1950-1953) in a ceremony held at the Incheon International Airport in Seoul on Sunday.

This is the seventh transfer of this kind since 2014, and the most since 2015. The ROK has transferred the remains of 599 Chinese volunteer soldiers over the past six years.
