LOUNGE SERVICES

Hainan Airlines, owned by HNA Group, launched a new offering on its app earlier this month to enrich its airport lounge services. The new product enables passengers flying with any of the 12 airliners owned by HNA Group to enjoy VIP services at HNA Club operated by the company. To date, the group has opened HNA Club at airports in six cities-Beijing, Xi'an, Haikou, Taiyuan, Hangzhou and Urumqi. Priced at 666 yuan (about $100), the limited-edition offering will expire on March 5, 2021.

FESTIVAL OFFERINGS

With the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday around the corner, pastry makers, restaurants and hotels have rolled up their sleeves to compete for a slice of the mooncake market. Wanda Realm, a brand of Wanda Hotels & Resorts, has adopted an innovative approach, encouraging do-it-yourself experiences. The hotel chain launched mooncake gift boxes, each containing a mooncake mold and semi-finished materials to allow DIYers to experience the festival in a traditional way.

Waldorf Astoria and cognac brand Hennessy have jointly launched a new series of mooncakes to celebrate the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival holiday. The mooncake selection, with a blend of Hennessy XO, comes in three flavors, combining the culinary experience of Waldorf Astoria and Hennessy's more than 250 years of brewing history.

IN SEASON

In cooperation with crab master Zhou Xuelong, Accor introduces the season's fresh crustaceans to members of Accor Live Limitless with high-quality hairy crabs from Yangcheng Lake in Suzhou, Jiangsu province. The collaboration kicked off at a ceremony at Fairmont Yangcheng Lake on Sept 20. Available at Meituan as the official third-party sales launch channel, the culinary experiences arrive just in time to toast hairy crab season this autumn.

ADVENTURE JOURNEY

The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou in Guangdong province partnered with automaker Mercedes-Benz to launch children's adventure-themed suites. As an upgrade to its signature children's program Ritz Kids Night Safari, the themed suite features an electric vehicle designed for children and a tent, as well as packaged outdoor devices
