Farmers in Guangxi take time for fun

The fourth National Farmers' Sports and Fitness Competition concluded on Thursday in Quanzhou county of Guilin in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
The three-day event attracted more than 5,000 participants.
Competitions included sports and farming skills, such as rope-skipping, football shooting, tug-of-war, carrying rice through barriers and relay races.
Organizers said the event was a platform for farmers to display their strengths and communicate.
It's part of the 2020 Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival, which will run to the end of the year.
During the festival, distinctive local agricultural products of high quality will be selected in various sectors — fruits and vegetables, livestock products, tea, special processed products and aquatic products.
