Trump's younger brother dies at 71

US President Donald Trump's younger brother, Robert Trump, died on Saturday night at the age of 71, according to the White House. Trump visited his brother on Friday at a New York hospital after being told he was seriously ill, staying for about 45 minutes. The cause of the death has not yet been revealed. Robert Trump, born in 1948 as the youngest of real estate developer Fred Trump's five children, was a longtime businessman as well, managing the Trump Organization's real estate holdings outside Manhattan. The younger Trump was a staunch supporter of his brother's when the latter ran for president in the 2016 election.

Nation starts making COVID-19 vaccine

Russia has started manufacturing its new vaccine for COVID-19, the Interfax news agency reported on Saturday, citing the health ministry. Russia has said the vaccine, developed by Moscow's Gamaleya Institute and the first for the coronavirus to go into production, will be rolled out by the end of this month. Russia will offer the vaccine to other countries once its own citizens are vaccinated, Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said on Wednesday.

18 killed, 21 missing in massive landslide

Landslides triggered by heavy rain swept away dozens of houses and killed 18 people in mountainous villages of Nepal, and many people were missing. Mud and stone came hurtling down on the remote hillside village in Sindhupalchowk district on early Friday morning. Police said that their personnel and Nepal Army personnel were engaged in rescue efforts along with local people. Helicopters were also used to reach the remote site after the landslide blocked roads. The search continued on Sunday for missing people. Eighteen bodies have been recovered in Jugal Rural Municipality, while 21 people are still missing.
