A wedding dress made with rare French satin and lace and embroidered with exquisite lily patterns was restored and returned to the Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum on August 11 by a local laundry company.

The dress previously belonged to Betty Grebenschikoff, a Jew who currently resides in Florida, the United States.

According to Chen Jian, director of the memorial hall, Grebenschikoff took refuge in Shanghai with her parents in 1939 when she was nine years old.
