Balcony concert gives bird's-ear view

After a suspension of nearly three months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 13th Modern Balcony Concert kicked off on Monday in Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang province.

The annual event, usually held from May to October, features an array of musical performances and dances on the second-floor balcony of the Modern Hotel.

When night falls, residents and tourists come to the hotel on Central Avenue to enjoy an evening of music.
