Pandemic control of highest priority in HK, official says

Tim Lui Tim-leung, chairman of the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong, said economic recovery is possible only after the city brings the pandemic under control.
Lui also expressed his support for the government's decision to postpone the Legislative Council election for a year, adding that holding the election now would jeopardize hard-earned gains the city has made in curbing the pandemic.
