US 'plays double standard' with presumption of guilt for Chinese tech companies

The US is running against principles of a market economy and playing a double standard by holding a presumption of guilt for Chinese tech companies without providing any evidence, Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said on Monday, after US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Sunday the US government will take action on a broad array of Chinese-owned software, including TikTok, that pose "national security risks".
