ICMRA publishes statements about confidence in vaccine safety and effectiveness
The International Coalition of Medicines Regulatory Authorities (ICMRA) recently published two statements about confidence in vaccine safety and effectiveness for the general public and for healthcare professionals.
The statements explained that global regulators are rigorously supervising vaccines to ensure their safety, quality and effectiveness and safeguard public health through scientific evaluation. The statements also emphasized the importance of vaccination for disease prevention and control.
ICMRA is a core mechanism for international strategic dialogues among global drug regulatory authorities. China's drug regulatory authority has been its member since 2015.
