Officials in Hong Kong says they will fully support the implementation of the national security law for HKSAR.
John Lee Ka-chiu, secretary for Security of HKSAR Government holds that the law will help get people's livelihoods and the economy back on track and allow Hong Kong to prosper and stay peaceful for a long time.
"I will lead all civil service providers in fulfilling our duties, ensure the effective implementation of relevant laws in Hong Kong and spare no effort to safeguard national security," he says.
Teresa Cheng Yeuk-wah, secretary for Justice of HKSAR Government says she will lead the Department of Justice to fully support the legislation
