E-commerce and livestreaming boost the brocade industry of Tujia ethnic group in Zhangjiajie, Hunan province, revitalizing the traditional weaving techniques in modern time.

Brocade, a class of richly decorative shuttle-woven fabrics, is often made in silks with colored threads. In Guaiyaomei brocade basement at Wulingyuan district of Zhangjiajie, livestreaming platform enables salespeople to introduce brocade's production process and local specialties to online audiences.

In addition, the convenience of international logistics also promotes Hunan's brocade business reaching the market from home and abroad.
