Taiwan's Kaohsiung city recalls its mayor

KAOHSIUNG - Residents of Kaohsiung city in southern Taiwan voted to recall mayor Han Kuo-yu Saturday.
According to the city's election commission, about 939,000 people voted in favor of the recall.
Han will be released from the office before June 12.
