China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbek train route opens

The launch ceremony of the first China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan freight train was held in Lanzhou, Northwest China's Gansu province, on Friday.
This route will run efficiently through "railway - highway - railway" to reduce transport time.
From Dongchuan, Lanzhou to Kashgar, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, the goods will be transported by rail. From Kashgar to Osh, Kyrgyzstan, by road and from Osh, the goods will be on a train to Tashkent city, Uzbekistan.
The entire journey will take 7-10 days, saving about 5 days compared to other transport methods.
