Unusual clouds descend on Chongqing

A spectacle of orographic clouds appeared in Longyan city on the eastern foot of Chongqing's Jinfo Mountain on Friday. The ocean of clouds flowed down the peaks like waterfalls.

Orographic clouds are a meteorological phenomena formed or enhanced in rugged terrain during high humidity. Changes in temperature or air pressure cause rapid condensation.
