Aziz Mekouar, Morocco's ambassador to China, highly commended China's experience in fighting the COVID-19 epidemic and said he believes that the Chinese experience is a good example for the rest of the world, during an interview with China Arab TV.

"It (COVID-19) has quickly spread all around the world in an unbelievable way," Mekouar said. "I think it is a learning process for the rest of the world. What happened in China can help the rest of the world."

He noted, "We have to look at the experiences, we have to look at what happened in China and see how this outbreak was handled in China and measures that were taken."

The Moroccan ambassador expressed that he saw a good result in China, where people's lives have returned to normal."That shows the way China has addressed this outbreak has been quite successful. It is a good example."

He also mentioned that many countries around the world are asking China to share its expertise in fighting the outbreak.

"Of course, we will have an ongoing exchange between Moroccan experts and Chinese experts," Mekouar said. "I think this cooperation is going to become stronger and stronger, because we need it and I think it is a very good opportunity."
