As temperatures rise in the country's northern areas with the coming of spring, a group of swans have come to the Honger Reservoir in Bayannuur, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

After a short rest, the swans will continue their trip northwards.

With an area of about 641 hectares, the reservoir provides a good environment for the migrant birds to rest during their long trip from the southern regions.
