Inbound Shanghai travelers to undergo quarantine

All inbound travelers to Shanghai will face a 14-day quarantine at a designated venue starting March 28, Shanghai's central office of COVID-19 control and prevention announced on Friday.

After implementation of the new regulation, those who have already been isolated at home will continue their quarantine to meet the two-week standard. Diplomats and those working in fields of important economic and trade, scientific and technological cooperation will be subjected to another set of regulations.

Elders, juveniles, pregnant women, the disabled, those with elders or children to take care of and those with other diseases can apply for quarantine at home if their test for coronavirus is negative and they have an appropriate place for home qanrantine. Strict checks and approvals will be processed.
