Yancheng, Jiangsu province, shared its experience containing COVID-19 and treating patients with Deva, Romania, through remote conferencing on Monday.

Eight experts from various departments at Yancheng No 1 Hospital, including respiratory medicine, infectious diseases and critical care, shared knowledge with 10 experts of Deva and offered many suggestions.

Zha Wenzhang, director of the hospital, said the experts attending the meeting were the hospital's top doctors. Communication about treatment for patients have no boundaries, Zha said.

A sister-city relationship was established in 1998 between Yangcheng and Deva. The Romanian city also sent regards to Yancheng's people in February, when the COVID-19 was running rampant.
