The Ministry of Culture and Tourism issued a warning on Tuesday night, reminding Chinese travelers to suspend their trips to overseas destinations with high risks of infection.

Tourists should pay attention to the novel coronavirus outbreak at overseas destinations, raise their awareness of prevention, and evaluate the risks of infection if takingoutbound trips, the ministry said.

The ministry suggests Chinese residents do not travel to foreign countries and regions with high risks of infection in the near future, including Italy, Spain, France, Germany, the United States, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Also on the list are the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Austria, Belgium, Iran and South Korea.
