Greece closes schools and universities due to COVID-19

Greece has announced it will close all educational establishments for two weeks in response to the spread of novel coronavirus and COVID-19 caused by the virus, which has infected a confirmed 89 people in the country.
Starting on Wednesday all schools, universities and day care centers will be on temporary shutdown, Greece Health Minister Vassilis Kikilias confirmed at a news conference.
"Now is the time for all Greeks to show personal responsibility," Kikilias said. "All schools will be closed for 14 days to help reduce the spread of the virus in the community."
The country's Health Ministry confirmed five more cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, bringing the total in Greece to 89.
