Since February, cherry trees have started to bloom in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, offering medical personnel who have been working long hours on the front line to fight against the novel coronavirus epidemic an opportunity to find solace and relief among the cherry blossoms.

The 16th medical team dispatched from Guangdong province to Wuhan, epicenter of the epidemic, came to enjoy the early spring scene at the East Lake in Wuhan on Thursday during a break after working for nearly 20 days to save patients.
