We are impressed and inspired by the level of solidarity and mobilization taking place in China to combat this virus. Within China, Thales is also a competence center and a manufacturing center in some businesses such as digital identity and security and also transportation. Our Chinese operations were slowed down by the virus outbreak but never completely shut down (or for a very short time), and we have been operating in China all through the epidemic.

Looking ahead, we will continue the collaboration with our local partners to deliver more innovative technologies to support China's civil aviation, ground transportation, digital identity and security industry's booming future development.

Thales is also actively participating in the development of China's civil aircraft industry, and hope to bring the high-end technology and solution for Commercial Aircraft Corp of China's CR929 aircraft project. Together with local partners, Thales has made some initial offers to China-Russia Commercial Aircraft International Co Ltd, the manufacturer of CR929. These offers cover almost all the packages of civil avionics.
