Xi encourages Utah students to learn Chinese

President Xi Jinping has encouraged primary students in Utah of the United States to learn Chinese and understand the Chinese culture to enhance friendship between the people of the two countries.

Xi made the remark in a letter replying to students in Cascade Elementary School in Utah on Feb 15 as 50 fourth-grade students wrote New Year greeting cards to Xi in Chinese before Spring Festival.
