People at home have easy access to the rich resources of cultural relics in Gansu province, including the Mogao Grottoes, Maijishan Grottoes and the Dunhuang Museum of Lanzhou.

The Mogao Grottoes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Northwest China's Gansu province, suspended operations since Jan 24 due to the novel coronavirus pneumonia (NCP) outbreak in China.

However, people at home can see the spring, summer, autumn and winter scenes of the cultural relics via the internet by visiting "Digital Dunhuang", which was established in 2016.

The "Digital Dunhuang" resource database platform, based on the digital records of the art of the Mogao Grottoes, has provided various images, videos and archaeological research so as to reproduce the exquisite beauty of the grottoes in the digital world, and meet demand by dealing with time and space restrictions amid the outbreak.
