Following the national "pairing-up support for Hubei" policy, a medical team of three people from Southwest China's Tibet autonomous region set off for Hubei province on Monday to help with epidemiological investigation on the front line of the contagion, according to the region's health commission.

The medical team brought 5,000 N95 surgical masks, 100 medical protective suits, 200 pairs of protective glasses and Tibetan medicine to help combat the outbreak.

Wang Shoubi, executive deputy director of the region's health commission, said after receiving the National Health Commission's call to dispatch medical staff to support epidemiological investigation work in Hubei on Sunday afternoon, the commission immediately gathered its staff to select the right volunteers.
