A team of 32 medical workers from the First Bethune Hospital of Jilin University in Changchun, Northeast China's Jilin province, set off for Central China's Hubei province on Tuesday to help the effort to control the novel coronavirus.

The team consists of doctors, nurses, technical and logistical staff, as well as five trucks loaded with first aid equipment, protective supplies and conventional drugs.

The trucks can be transformed into a cabin hospital with a connected tent system within a short time.

With facilities for first aid, outpatient service, surgical treatment, monitoring treatment, laboratory tests and medical supply, the cabin hospital can meet the needs of emergency medical treatment in remote areas and has strong mobility and flexibility.

So far, the hospital has dispatched four teams with a total of 76 medical workers to Hubei province.
