Shandong donates 350 tons of vegetables to Wuhan

"We only spent 16 hours on a routine 48-hour job," said Qiao Risheng, vice-mayor of Shouguang.
According to Li Xiuxin, director of the bureau of agriculture and rural affairs of Shouguang, the 350 tons of vegetables, with a value of more than 2 million yuan ($288,334), have not only been examined by five towns and streets, but also other third-party units.
The first batch of 350 tons of vegetables is predicted to be supplied to the market in Wuhan on the morning of Jan 29.
The daily turnover of vegetables in Shouguang currently is more than 20,000 tons, and 600 tons of supply in Wuhan will not affect the supply of vegetables in other areas. Shouguang will also make efforts to assist Beijing, Shanghai and other large cities to ensure stable prices.
