Man wounding 4 with knife at Beijing hospital detained

A man, who wounded four people in Beijing Chaoyang Hospital with a kitchen knife on Monday, has been detained, local police authority said in a statement.
According to police from Chaoyang district in Beijing, the 36-year-old man surnamed Cui tried to escape after injuring three medical workers and one ordinary citizen at the hospital at around 2 pm on Monday. He was caught by the police soon with the help of security guards at the hospital.
The four injured are in no immediate, life-threatening danger.
The case is under further investigation.
