1 injured in supermarket shooting in US city of Houston

HOUSTON - A person has been shot and taken to hospital after a shooting broke out between two groups at a Walmart store in Houston in the US state of Texas on Wednesday night.

According to Houston police, an argument took place between two groups who know each other, at a Walmart store about 24 km southwest of downtown Houston. The argument escalated, with one male pulling out a gun and firing.

One suspect was taken into custody, after police secured and cleared the store. Two other suspects are still being searched for.

Earlier Wednesday, another unrelated shooting occurred at a different Walmart store in the area, about 27 km northeast of downtown Houston.
