HK police make appeal for end of violence

Hong Kong police on Thursday appealed to the public to make a clear break with violence.
Explaining the reasons why the public procession on the first day of 2020 was cut short, the police said the decision was made to ensure public safety after radical protesters started to disrupt public order.
