Enjoy authentic, smashing flamenco performance in Beijing

Internationally renowned Spanish flamenco dancer and choreographer Maria Pages is bringing to Beijing her new choreographic creation An Ode to Time, which is an ethical and artistic reflection on "the now" and also a dialogue with memory.

Coming from Seville, birthplace of the highly expressive dance, Pages is widely considered the paramount representative of flamenco vanguard.

An Ode to Time features eight dancers and seven musicians. Their performance goes beyond flamenco and highlights the constant tension between the individual and the community, the circle and the straight line, and the silence and the percussion.
