 Erhe village
Erhe village in the city of Shulan is fast becoming a popular tourism destination thanks to images of it being spread on the internet. The village often has heavy snowfall of up to 1.5 meters which can last for five months. Tourists say its snow-capped farm houses, red lanterns, and a 10-meter-high giant cob of corn made out of 15,000 cobs of corn are all major reasons to visit.
Apart from sightseeing, Erhe village also has a ski program which is completely different from those in other parts of Jilin. The slope is steeper and the ski course much longer, according to locals.
Apart from outdoor activities, tourists can make their own tofu and pancakes as well as taste local pork and chicken dishes.
