4 quakes rattle off northern coast of Canada's Vancouver Island

OTTAWA -- Four separate earthquakes on Monday rattled some 100 kilometers off the northern coast of Vancouver Island, according to Earthquakes Canada.
The first quake, which registered at a magnitude of 5.1, occurred at 8:44 am local time and 162 km west of Port Hardy.
The following three quakes occurred at 11:13 am and 185 km west of Port Alice, 11:49 am and 178 km west of Port Hardy, and 12:56 pm and 186 km west of Port Alice, with a magnitude of 5.6, 5.8 and 6.0 respectively.
There were no tsunami warnings, and no reports of damage or injuries from the quakes, according to Earthquakes Canada.
