Senior CPC official stresses guiding principles from key economic meeting
        NANJING - A senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official stressed communicating the guiding principles from a key annual economic meeting.
Huang Kunming, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks on an inspection tour in East China's Jiangsu province from Thursday to Friday.
During his two-day trip, Huang visited the cities of Xuzhou and Nanjing to learn about the work concerning building public awareness of economic policies, and improving public etiquette and ethical standards, among others.
The Central Economic Work Conference, which was held in Beijing from Tuesday to Thursday, has pointed out the direction and provided guidelines for the current and future economic work, Huang said.
Huang also stressed efforts to promote cultural advancement in rural areas, preserve and carry forward intangible cultural heritage, develop cultural industries with rural features, and explore new ways of integrating culture and tourism industries in rural areas.
