HKSAR chief executive to pay duty visit to Beijing

HONG KONG - Chief Executive of China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Carrie Lam will pay a duty visit to Beijing on Dec 14-17, the HKSAR government said in a statement on Tuesday.
During her stay in Beijing, Lam will report to state leaders on the latest economic, social and political situation in the Hong Kong SAR.
During Lam's absence, Chief Secretary for Administration Matthew Cheung will be the acting chief executive.
