Jordan's king receives invitation to attend G20 summit

AMMAN - King Abdullah II of Jordan has received an invitation from Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to attend the G20 summit as a guest of honor.

In a response letter, Jordan's king expressed his keenness to attend the summit, stressing that Saudi Arabia's presidency of the G20 summit reflects its regional and international stature, according to a Royal Court statement.

Jordan had previously received an invitation from Saudi Arabia to participate in the preparatory meetings for the G20 summit.

The 2020 G20 will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from Nov 21-22, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
