Steampunk powered art exhibition opens at Chaoyang Joy City

An art exhibition themed Time Gift Factory that features steampunk-powered devices kicked off at Chaoyang Joy City in Beijing on Friday.

The exhibition is presented in cooperation with Japanese artist Mitsuji Kamata and includes a replica of Kamata's studio. The artist will hold an autograph signing session during the exhibition. 

Displayed on the first floor of the shopping mall, the largest piece in the is an eight-meter-tall castle that includes more than 300 precision components and parts.

In the castle are Christmas presents for visitors.

A replica of the British steam locomotive Britannia also is a highlight of the exhibition.

The exhibition will be open till Feb 16.
