Xinjiang's legislature strongly condemns US House approval of Xinjiang-related bill

URUMQI -- The Standing Committee of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Regional People's Congress has voiced firm opposition to and strong condemnation of the passage of a Xinjiang-related bill by the US House of Representatives.
The so-called "Uyghur Human Rights Policy Act of 2019" disregarded Xinjiang's stability and development and the fact that people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang live and work in harmony and contentment, the regional legislature said in a statement.
