Catch David Hockney's 'A Bigger Splash'

A grand survey exhibition of UK artist David Hockney, who holds the record for the highest auction price for a painting by a living artist, is being held at M Woods' newly opened second space in the history-steeped Longfusi area in Beijing.

Contextualizing more than 100 showpieces, including the artist's blockbuster painting A Bigger Splash (1967), the M Woods show takes Chinese audiences on a journey to explore Hockney's splendid artistic career dating back to the mid-1950s.

The UK art giant's connection with ancient Chinese scroll painting, a lesser-known part of Hockney's work, is also highlighted in the M Woods show.

The exhibition ends on Jan 5.
