China, Kenya explore more cooperation avenues as third expo kicks off

The third China-Kenya Industrial Capacity Cooperation Exposition kicked off on Tuesday with social responsibility exhibition and job creation as the highlights.
The four-day expo, which is being held at the Kenyatta International Convention Center in Nairobi, is expected to attract hundreds of people from the region and is aimed at providing opportunities for business benchmarking, networking and enabling Chinese companies to find investment opportunities in Kenya.
At least 83 enterprises from China, including Chinese-invested companies based in Kenya, are participating in the annual event. It is sponsored by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and China Africa Development Fund in collaboration with Kenya's Ministry of Industry, Trade and Cooperatives, Kenya Investment Authority, Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and the Kenya Private Sector Association.
