An exhibition for preserved roses from plateaus in Southwest China's Yunnan province began along with the 2019 Yangtze River Delta International Cultural Industries Expo in Shanghai yesterday.

Preserved fresh flowers, also called "forever flowers", can last longer than fresh flowers, symbolizing everlasting love.

More than 30 kinds of preserved flower products made by Yunnan Wanrong Group can be seen during the exhibition. They were designed by top floral designers from home and abroad.

Among them, a product with the name "Lovers' hearts are like one" represents the beautiful love story between renowned architects Liang Sicheng and his wife Lin Huiyin.

During the exhibition, which will last four days, new preserved flower products will be released by the group.
