Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor on Tuesday made a strong plea to those protesters still holed up in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University to leave the campus so that their standoff with the police could end in a peaceful manner.
Lam said for those aged under 18 who come out from the campus peacefully, the police will only record their personal data and then let them return home while reserving the right for further investigations.
