Premier Li Keqiang will have a roundtable dialogue with top officials from six major international economic and financial organizations on Thursday in Beijing.

According to Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang, the organizations are the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the World Trade Organization, the International Labor Organization, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and the Financial Stability Board.

The theme of the dialogue is promoting open, stable and high-quality growth of the global economy, Geng told a daily press briefing on Friday, and the discussions will focus on issues including the prospects of global economy and China's continued efforts to improve the business environment.

Li and the six officials will meet the press after the dialogue concludes.

This will be the fourth time the Chinese government and these organizations have held the dialogue, which began in 2016.

China looks forward to in-depth exchanges of ideas over shared and major concerns, and hopes all parties involved will show their firm support to multilateralism and promote strong, sustained, balanced and inclusive growth of the world economy, Geng said.

China also hopes the organizations will share advice on the development of China's economy, Geng added.
