Connections to endless experiences between glacier, mountain and lake in Zell am See-Kaprun

Guests of the holiday region can expect a big winter experience area - with 408 premium kilometers of ski slopes, 100% snow-reliability thanks to the glacier and a ticket alliance, the Ski ALPIN CARD.

Included, of course: endless skiing pleasure. From winter 19/20, the region will become an alpine pioneer yet again thanks to two new cable car connections.

The "3K K-onnection" brings together that belongs together and, creating a fascinating entity, connects Kaprun, the Maiskogel Family Mountain and the Kitzstein- horn from December onward. With that, Kaprun offers for the first time a comfortable ski in-ski-out directly from the town centre to the snow-reliable glacier ski resort as well as a panoramic ride from 768 to 3,029 meters, which is unique in the Eastern Alps.

But that’s not all. True to the motto "New valley - New Iuck" enables the lower Section I of the zellamseeXpress the access from the Glemmtal Valley to the Schmittenhohe panorama and family ski resort for the first time, thus creating a connection to the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn and setting the course for a new dimension of skiing.

Active away from the slopes on snow shoes, boards or hooves

Zell am See-Kaprun (w&p) - Much more than just skiing and snowboarding; With its glacier and snowy white peaks, deep woods and lakes, the Zell am See-Kaprun region is also a dream destination for outdoor lovers in winter-regardless of whether you prefer relaxed hikes, cross-country skiing, tobogganing with the whole family or exciting ski tours. It’s clear from just a brief glance in the weekly winter program; guests can choose every day between various activities such as curling, winter yoga, torchlight hikes or winter bike tours.

The ice rink in Zell am See is not only the home of the Zell Polar Bears ice hockey team; it's also very popular with hobby ice skaters and curling enthusiasts and offers skate hire, a skate service and curling stone hire. Under the same roof as the indoor swimming pool, the ice creates a wonderful contrast to the warm water and sauna. And when Lake zell is frozen over, ice skating fans can perform their turns in the open air.
