Austria's Dachstein Salzkammergut welcomes the world in new snow season

Dachstein West

In the middle of Austria lies the ski area Dachstein West. The three core towns of Gosau, Russbach and Annaberg have a village character, but are connected and easily accessible by the federal road network and public transport. The ski area offers a total of 160 km perfectly groomed slopes and 70 lifts with a view to the beautiful Dachstein. It is particularly suitable for beginners and families, as skiing can be learned on partly flat slopes and practice lifts.

For those who want to explore the Krippenstein without skis, the varied snowshoe hiking routes are perfect. For this, you have the possibility to buy the so-called "Yetiticket", which includes the cable car ride as well as a snowshoe hiking equipment.
