Guizhou issues 10 criteria for mountain tourism

10 criteria for mountain tourism were introduced at the opening ceremony of 2019 International Mountain Tourism and Outdoor Sports Conference which was held on Wednesday in Xingyi city, Southwest China’s Guizhou province.

The 10 criteria will go into effect this November.

The criteria cover karst cave service, bicycle trails quality, construction of urban public utilities and service guide, travel trails classification, resort destination, sightseeing bus, vehicle campsites, hot spring tourism and star hotel buffet service.

Aiming to build a world-famous mountain tourism destination and a leisure resort, Guizhou has sped up the construction of mountain tourism，said Zhang Yuguang, official from provincial department of culture and tourism.
