Should euthanasia be allowed?

The right of a terminally ill person to avoid excruciating pain and embrace a timely and dignified death should be respected. Besides, the medical costs for the terminally ill patients is often astronomical to lots of patients. They have no money to cure their illness and have to wait for death painfully. Why not let euthanasia help them slide into eternity with dignity, without pain, with their loved ones present.
